Tour Director

Phuoc Babcock was born and raised in Vietnam. A U.S. citizen since 1972, she has two graduate degrees in French literature and civilization; has studied abroad in France and Mexico; and speaks fluent English, Vietnamese, French and Spanish. In addition to conducting tours for Vietnam Adventures, she teaches French at Robert Millikan High School in Long Beach, California.

Ms. Babcock is ideally suited as your escort to Vietnam. In addition to being a native of Vietnam and having extensive knowledge of its history and culture, she has a lot of experience as a tour leader. Since 1990, she has led over 15 educational tours through Europe. Since the ban on travel to Vietnam was lifted in 1994, she has visited and traveled there both as a tour director and a tourist, and has been to all the cities cited in the tour package many times.
